4 seconds for transfer 10,000 small files of 10KB
It could take 1000x less time to transfer a bulk number of small files of any size globally with the only bottlenecks at infrastructure bandwidths. Even faster than local copy.
2 seconds for resume 10,000 small files of 10KB
It takes few seconds to compare and resume a bulk number of small files globally without actual transfer, even faster then local diff.
6 seconds for transfer one 1GB large file
Using the "time" command, it was measured from the command line start through exit, including the connection, request, transfer and terminate phases.
6 seconds for transfer 10,000 small files of 10KB + 900MB single large file mixed
Various file sizes is no long relevant. It just transfers at best no matter what and where!
Distance Fairness
Far away transfers share the bandwidth fairly with nearby transfers. This recording shows the far away transfer (150ms over 60ms network delays), started right after the nearby transfer had occupied the whole bandwidth, took back perfect half of the bandwith. It just takes one second more for cross-ocean transfers!
Every transfer gets the fair share of the whole bandwidth regardless their network delays! Distance no longer matters!
